About By-Lions Home Inspections |
My name is Forrest Lines and I am By-Lions. I have been in the Home Inspection business since 1998. I received my Radon license and my CRI (certified real estate inspector) designation in 2003. In the past almost 13 years I have done approximately 4,000 fee paid home inspections.
In 2006 ITA (Inspection Training Associates) wanted to open a school in Ohio. I was hired as the lead instructor and ran the school for 3 years. The company was purchased by an outside company and most all the schools across the United States were closed in 2009. In 2009 I was elected the president of NAHI’s Ohio chapter and I am still at that post. I have been on the NAHI Board of Trustees since 2008 and I am currently Vice President and liaison to the Education Committee. I have helped to develop and produce the Webinars we offer each month. I also write an article in The Forum Magazine entitled ‘Class Notes’. It deals with the many questions and concerns that students in home inspection classes ask as well as questions and concerns of new inspectors. I live in Gahanna Ohio, which is a suburb of Columbus. My wife Gail and I have been blessed with four wonderful daughters. Their names are Shannon, Morgan, Noelle, and Erin. I graduated from Ashland College with a B.S. in education with a passion and focus on communication.I love high school sports and have coached football, basketball, softball, and track and field at our local high school. I joined NAHI to receive support nationally but was and still am struck by our friendliness. I love doing home inspections and crave the interaction you get with prospective buyers. I, on the other hand, do not care for sitting at my desk. It is necessary I know, but I would rather
